I brought my mom to Chef Point Cafe when she came in to Dallas for a visit because of her love for bread pudding, and for me it was the most memorable part of the meal for me! That bread pudding was completely legit and so incredible.  It had a clear rum sauce as opposed to the more popular cloudy, creamy sauce.  So good! We also had the lobster bisque which is stock and cream based instead of a tomato base, and it had that intense lobster flavor.  And the entree was “better than sex fried chicken” served over a bed of mashed potatoes (of which I’ve had better) and cream gravy.  It was also very tasty.  My favorite part of this dining experience was being able to see straight into their little kitchen inside of the little gas station of which it is located.  You can see all of the action, even with the amount of people that were dining in there.  It was so much fun and a very memorable time of making food and family memories! If you can go, do it!
