So I finally caved in on myself and decided to write a food blog.  For introductions, my name is Lauren and I am a student living in the big city of Dallas, Texas, a true melting pot of so many cultures and cuisines.  I may not be the most eloquent writer, but I love food and have a passion for all things concerning it.  It’s my heart song.  In this little space of mine on the internet I will be sharing new food finds off the beaten path, holes in the wall, new food experiences, ingredients, and flavors, and of course tons of recipes gems, along with plenty of photos and videos.  I was a culinary student for a short stint before that fizzled out, but I really enjoyed those moments and what I did get to learn.  All of that is what catapulted me to my love for food and sharing it now.  I mean come on, who doesn’t love something that makes their tastebuds sing and dance for joy and bring back memories from the heart of family, friends and holidays? Exactly.  Food is joy and there is joy to be found in cooking and hopefully I can share that experience with you and inspire you to branch out of the norm.  My food journey is right on it’s way and the rest of it is going to be a long, great journey!
